Robert P. Rothery 76 of the Ocean Beach II section of Toms River Twsp., NJ died on Friday September 30, 2016 at home. Born in Elizabeth, NJ. He lived in Whippany, NJ and spent summers in Ocean Beach II before moving there permanently in 1998. Robert was a Program manager for Kearfott Guidance and Navigation Corp in Wayne, NJ. He was a Scout Master in Whippany and an active member and coach of Little League in Whippany and Pt Pleasant. He loved the summertime, spending time on the beach and boating. Predeceased by his wife Daryl “Dee”. He is survived by his sons Robert A. of Pt Pleasant Boro and Rick of Manasquan, NJ. A daughter Donna Iuliano of Pt Pleasant Beach and five grandchildren; Robert M. Nicole, Michael, Camryn and Kailie. Family and friends are invited to attend Robert’s viewing on Wednesday October 5, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9pm with a Service at 3:30pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St Catherine Blvd Toms River, NJ . Committal is private. Donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering or The American Heart Assoc.
