Lillian Winters, 100, of Nutley, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020. Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Meyers) Volk.
Lillian recently moved from Nutley to her longtime summer residence in Lavallette (Ocean Beach Unit 2) and was a bookkeeper for Reynolds Electric Inc. before retiring.
Lillian was parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Nutley and member of the Nutley Seniors Club. She was predeceased by her first husband, Samuel Gordon; her second husband, Richard Winters and her beloved son, Robert Gordon. She leaves many beloved nieces and nephews.
The funeral is from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Monday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, N.J. Visitors will be received at the funeral home Monday from 9 to 10 a.m.
